Wolky's history goes back to the early 80s. Already back then the Diks shoe stores sold a fair amount of comfort shoes. However, at the time these shoes were hardly fashionable. This prompted the company's founder, Kees Diks to develop a sandal line himself. By continuously developing innovative shoes, the Wolky collection today consists of more than 18 shoe lines per season. All kind of footwear such as sandals, clogs, high-heels, boots and walking-boots are part of the Wolky collection. Most do have a removable footbed for extra comfort features

While environmental issues become more and more important, Wolky is one of the leading shoe-companies in using environmental friendly materials. The Wolky collection exists out of leathers that are all tanned without using any chrome or vegetable extracts and are therefore not only skin friendly, but also environmental friendly.
